Herr-Voss Stamco® builds equipment for virtually all of the various types of processing lines for the metals industry. These include Hot Dip Galvanizing Lines, ElectroGalvanizing Lines, Heat Treating Lines, Cleaning Lines, Pickling Lines and Coating Lines, or revised terminal equipment on an existing continuous line. Herr-Voss Stamco has done them all.

There are many possible combinations of equipment, each for a specific need at the mill or processor level. We've designed, built and installed a lot of them. There is no such thing as a standard configuration. Each is designed to match your performance requirements.

 
    Advantages & Key Features
  A recent Hot Dip Galvanize Line supplied to a steel mill handles 140,000 pound coils. It includes a double unwind system, double rewind system, entry horizontal looper car, and vertical exit accumulator.

Our ElectroGalvanize Lines include double unwind system, large strip accumulators, and tension leveling to insure successful plating.

Our experience with Heat Treating Lines includes continuous lines for the aluminum and brass industries. They generally feature double unwind and rewind systems and vertical accumulator towers. Many of them go down to very light gauge and soft products.

Our experience with Cleaning Lines includes can stock cleaning lines which operate at speeds up to 2000 fpm. They have massive vertical accumulators for continuous operation, and include double entry and exit ends.

We supply heavy gauge Pickle Lines for the steel industry. These lines handle steel up to 1/2" thick and often include edge trimming.
