Compu-Cut™ Slitter
Compu-Cut™ Slitter answers the increasing demand for quick set-up
changes and redefines productivity levels and flexibility in slitting
and multi-blanking
operations.
The slitter is interchangeable with traditional packed arbor slitters
available either traverse or lift out design, making it compatible with
most existing head
exchange systems.
State of the art technology to bring CNC machine tool accuracy to your
blanking or slitting operation. This slitter will set any combination
of up to six cuts
in less than three minutes, Compu-Cut™ Slitter achieves consistent mult
accuracies of +/-.002".
Incorporating user-friendly touch screen controls, this slitter handles
your rapid tooling set-up needs, can also connect with your plant network
to download slitter
settings from production data.
Knife gap is precisely set to standard clearances and can be fine tuned
for your specific material to always achieve the highest quality slit
edges.

Tooling Capstan
Herr-Voss Stamco® has supplied many slitter tooling capstans for use in
making more and faster slitter set-ups in conventional packed arbor slitters.
The most recent and highly successful patent pending design was geared
for the large size machines where operators are required to handle heavy
tooling all day long. The ergonomic design allows the operator to adjust
the position of the capstan tooling support arms to optimize the height
during loading and unloading of heavy knives and spacers. These and many
other innovative designs in Herr-Voss Stamco slitting lines have helped
customers increase productivity. Herr-Voss Stamco® engineering and sales
staff works directly with the users to provide a cost effective solution
to your slitting and packaging operation.
Rotary Shear™
Herr-Voss Stamco® offers a wide range of servo driven rotary shears to
meet the high production requirements of today's Cut-To-Length Sheet
Blanking Processing Lines.
Several model sizes are available to process coiled material from
.010" to .780" thick and widths up to 98" available
on the heavy gauge models. Production rates vary between model sizes
(120 sheets per minute on the light gauge models, 40 sheets per minute
on heavy gauge models).
Compact shear design, quiet A.C. servo drive system, tight length
tolerances with repetitive accuracy, offer attractive operation and
