Our highly productive, heavy-duty, and reliable Herr-Voss Stamco® Cut-to-Length Lines are found in multi-shift operations requiring exact length tolerance. They perform a variety of operational functions including leveling, edge trim, cut-to-length, classify, and stack sheets and plates, from the heaviest hot rolled plate coils to light gauge cold rolled steel, aluminum and copper alloys - often with sensitive or polished surfaces, or specialized coatings.

Herr-Voss Stamco® has developed a variety of shears and Cut-To-Length lines for virtually any type of application:

• Over Driven Down Cut Shear: Generally for start/stop line applications with low nominal speeds. Both AC clutch brake and variable speed drive for quieter operation.

• High Speed Rotary Shear: This shear is used for higher volume production runs of short or intermediate lengths.

• High Speed Hydraulic Shear: Currently under development, this high speed hydraulic shear is targeted for 10 gauge Cut-To-Length lines.
